The 2009 mtmconsulting / Veale Wasbrough Conference: Practical Strategies for Challenging Times

The fourth annual mtmconsulting / Veale Wasbrough conference on practical education business strategies is to be held on Tuesday 15th September at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, SW1.
The conference is renowned for its consistently high-calibre speakers and for addressing the key issues affecting marketing for schools and colleges, educational management, pupil recruitment and overall strategy for education.

The provisional programme for this year includes plenary sessions covering a diverse range of topics relating to business strategies for schools and colleges. Such sessions will include an exploration of the parallels between university and school management; school and college business strategies in a cold climate; the role of the brand in school marketing; education management in preparation for economic recovery; and utilising public benefit as an opportunity for positive PR for schools.

Guest speakers on the provisional programme include Nigel Richardson, former headmaster of The Perse School; Sir David Bell, Chair of Council of Roehampton University; Melanie Tucker, Principal of mtmconsulting; Robert Fletcher, former New York Director of the Saatchi Company; John MacGregor Head of Specialised Commercial Banking at Coutts & Co; James Murphy, Editorial Director of The Future Foundation; Doug Locke, Partner and Education Specialist at Veale Wasbrough; and Dick Davison, Head of Educational Business Strategy and Research at mtmconsulting.

In these challenging times, there is a clear need for all school and college management, marketing and overall strategies to be well-defined and built on a secure foundation. Our Practical Strategies for Education conference is an outstanding opportunity to receive the best advice and up-to-date thinking on the issues affecting your institution.
